OUR BEGINNINGS AS A STRATEGIC CONSULTANCY
FMC was founded in 1988 with the aim of delivering a fresh approach to professional services, based on the principles of openness, simplicity, value and quality of service.
Our initial business activity was to provide strategic research and commercial intelligence to leading UK businesses, and this arm of the business is still going strong today.
The FMC service has been extended to include implementation support and project management. From the public sector, to major bluechips and dynamic team-managed SMEs, FMC is supporting the future prosperity of organisations throughout the UK.
THE MOVE TO HEADHUNTING
The strategic work we did with clients often raised issues internally over the skills available to deliver action plans. So, rather than leave clients with this challenge, in 1999 we set up a headhunting arm based on the same core principles.
FMC Headhunting takes a fresh approach to recruitment and now works globally for some of the world’s leading companies. To support our clients we also offer a range of outplacement support services, to minimise the impact of some of the tougher structural decisions.
